Re: Trolls, and why we support upgrading litecoin

Bravo, man! Please keep these informative posts coming. Number 1 is what Litecoin should be, not "silver". Not BTC's little bro. Not even "for small payments", as Charles Lee keeps saying. It should be for all payments, everywhere. Let's continue this push to be THE go-to currenc...

Re: It's time to move on

And why is price of both going up if we're supposedly going to 200 USD?

Re: Bitcoin Classic: a future with multiple "Bitcoins"

Look, I love your projections and so far you make a whole lot of sense. I am still not mining myself but I did invest in an enormous amount of LTC two years ago. I know my question sounds silly since it's almost impossible to answer, but it's one that investors like myself will be asking (especially...

Re: Bitcoin Classic: a future with multiple "Bitcoins"

The improved LTCBTC ratio is due to BTC going down, not LTC going up.

In any case, if we can already handle the traffic, we're ready for investors and miners to pile in. Investors must already know the fundamentals of LTC compared to BTC.

Re: Bitcoin Classic: a future with multiple "Bitcoins"

Thank you for your efforts. But didn't Charlie say Litecoin didn't need any changes yet? It was supposed to be able to handle the spillover from the BTC fiasco... Personally I don't understand why we're not seeing higher LTC price already, regardless of whether there are fixes or not. If traders, in...

Re: Bitcoin Classic: a future with multiple "Bitcoins"

I hope you can get the patch out there before Litecoin price is in critical territory...

And btw what are other Litecoin miners doing about this?

Re: It's time to move on

Here is a great article from MIke Hearn on the present BTC failure, and it quotes Chris/Steve:

BTC dropping fast. LTC a bit less but not much.

Re: It's time to move on

How are you going to convince all of China to switch over? :? And BTW if you're right that BTC can't cross 500 because holders panic at the backlog, why are we not seeing spillover into LTC price already? LTC can currently handle a lot more traffic even without BIP101/4, but right now LTC isn't even...
