Re: Update on the pool downtime
I talked with Chris. We determined that the previous method won't work, because Verizon is blocking outbound traffic that appears to come from IPs outside their network. The idea was to use a front server that had a lot of bandwidth to filter traffic and then just re-broadcast good packets with a d...

Re: Forcing activation of SegWit on Litecoin
The only issue with renting hash is how do you know youre pulling it from the non-segwit side or from other coins? If you rent 100GH/s and redirect it from another LTC segwit pool then all you did was waste money and not help segwit activation at all. Its a noble gesture but unless you know for a f...

Re: Forcing activation of SegWit on Litecoin
So... I am reading about Bitmain's ASICboost being incompatible with SegWit. Could all of those hot new 500 Mh/s L3's be bricks if SegWit goes live? Does ASICboost only work with SHA256 or is it active on the L3's for Scrypt too? Ive heard that only the units that Bitmain keeps for themselves has A...

Re: Forcing activation of SegWit on Litecoin
Antpool.Com BTC : 633.14 PH/s LTC : 113.30 GH/s = Peanuts? ETH : 0.00 H/s ZEC : 1.07 MSol/s LTC.top is their disguise pool when they pull shit like this, they obviously cant put all the hashpower of customers withheld miners on antpool, so they put it on ltc.top and ltc1btc, both pools are essentia...

Re: Forcing activation of SegWit on Litecoin
If you guys are serious about this it must be done in the next 24 hours. Segwit signal is currently at 71%. You guys are already starting to feel your profits drop due to this, so time for action is now. If we can coordinate, and you guys push all your hashpower to LTC I will push an additional 100G...

Re: Forcing activation of SegWit on Litecoin
I think the decision has been made. The miners who are still mining here are looking more at short term profit than wanting to activate SegWit. I myself moved my hash power from this pool to another to help with SegWit. This is at a cost to me as I make less at the other pool, however its worth the...

Re: To all Scrypt Miners on Prohashing
This poor release update for X11 cost us money too, still suffering. Anyone who mined x11 coins but was the victim of lost blocks will be compensated, don't worry. As to scrypt, I would love to say that it's entirely the fault of the release, but Jihan Wu put a lot of miners online, and it's been d...

Re: Forcing activation of SegWit on Litecoin
I made a post in support and just saw this....its awesome that you guys first signaled segwit, and are talking about these between you guys. To the miners worried about potential losses, whats is better loosing 20% profits for a couple days, or mining at 1/3 to 1/4 profits like you were a month ago ...

To all Scrypt Miners on Prohashing
Not sure how many of you are following whats going on in Litecoin right now, but I'm SURE you have noticed your profits have trippled since last month. The reason for this is because Litecoin is spear heading the adaption of Segwit on its network, and all the development efforts behind it. Unfortuna...
