The pool does have a smart ability to point a specific miner to specific coins. So the pool should know that a l3+ do need a minimum amount of difficluty in order to run efficient. Well don't worry about where the fan is placed, as long as the dissipated heat is brought outside your room and colder air can get in.

I never power off a miner unless it is necessary for changing pools or hashboard problems or changing a fan. Fans and BBBoards i have always on stock. Are there any fail-over servers available for prohashing:3333? I assume the proxy server :443 cannot be used as failover since a proxy only forward the connection.
