The merge mined coins get paid out in small amounts as if you're mining in FPPS mode, and they are done according to your payout proportions. I just got mine last week. It's currently unprofitable from an FPPS perspective, so I've plugged it in for PPLNS mining. Hoping we actually find a block so I can see how profitable it may be.
